DR. RUTARO MUTORO ARAALI IGNATIUS December 26, 1945 - August 9, 2024

Date of Funeral

August 14, 2024

Dr. Rutaro has been a beloved husband, father, sibling, grandfather, uncle, cherished friend, and a great pillar of the community. He leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, generosity, and kindness.

He has led an accomplished life and leaves behind a legacy as having been the first person in Sub Saharan Africa to obtain a PhD in Computer Science. He believed in giving back and we believe that his measure of a life well-lived was in the lives he impacted and helped uplift.

His kindness was felt by everyone that met him, his generosity knew no bounds.

He has been a beacon of light in all our lives and his death leaves a void that can never be filled.

Dr. Rutaro will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and the community.

Today we celebrate a life well lived.

We will carry forward his legacy and he will forever be in our hearts.
