Career background:
The late Aula Modesto served as a Teacher at Aboke High School before joining Bank of Uganda on 18th August, 1983 and started his career as a Banking Assistant in the Banking Department and
went ahead to serve in other various capacities such as -Senior banking officer
- Principle Banking Officer
- Assistant Director
At the time of his retirement on 23rd December, 2019 he was at the rank of Deputy Director in the National Payments Systems Department.
The Late Aula was a great resource to the Bank and will be remembered for his excellent performance on the payment systems such as RTGS and ECS.
There will be a funeral service a St. Jude Church Naguru on Friday 05th March, 2021 starting at 10:00am.
Burial will take place at their home in Awio- Iceme, Oyam District on Saturday 6th March, 2021 at 10:00am.
