My paternal Auntie (Senga) has been one of the most loving and respected lady among all our patriarchs and Matriarchs.
She took care of our fathers who were her brothers.
She gave us children who in turn took care of us.
After the death of the most beloved cousin (her son) Paulo Kikuke my hope had remained to still smile because of her presence.
Last time I travelled to Uganda we joked and enjoyed lunch together in her house.
She gave me words of wisdom that have remained with me.
She nurtured and preached to us to be of good character and to love Jesus.
Her departure has devastated me and my family knowing that when I return to Uganda I shall never see her again.
We mourn you Senga and we thank you for the love invested in us.
Your love shall continue to shine among us.
Rest in peace beloved Senga 😭🙏
Untill we see you again in the paradise of the Father when our time comes.
We shall remain to love our children and grannies you have left with us.
    Hebrews 6:10

    To Jajja

We your grandchildren have mixed feelings today as we bid you farewell. On the one hand we are sorrowful about your departure.
On the other hand however, we are grateful to the Almighty for your well-lived life which has been a shining example of how life should be lived. You were warm and loving, and above all, you were God-fearing.

Your principles and values are to be emulated, not only by us but by everybody. May you be delighted by the Angels because of a journey well travelled.

    Rest in Peace Jajja.
    Your grand children;
Victoria Kalimo Rosette, Samuel Tantala and Yayeri Nalumansi.

You will forever be missed by us and your Niece Solome Nalubowa Sebbowa Mwanje.

We thank God for jajja maama’s long life. Even at 95 years old, we still wanted to be with her longer on this side of eternity, but God decided otherwise. I have fond memories of life at Bweya with jajja. One day I visited her when I was very little and she gave me pocket money (3,000/=). She asked me to use the money to buy samosas while at school. She always prepared delicious meals for us and was always full of humor. Jajja maama was good to all of us and we bless the Lord for her. But most of all, she fervently encouraged us all to get saved and walk with Christ.

Jajja maama, we will miss you but we know you are now with Jesus whom you served faithfully your entire life. And we know that you have reunited with jajja taata.

Until we meet again, sleep well jajja. Era tambula mirembe jajja maama.

I will always remember the warm way that Jaaja Maama welcomed me as part of the family, and I am so grateful I had the chance to meet her and introduce her to our son Avery. Simon and I will always remember her with much love.
