We mourn and Honour the Life of our Dearest Auntie Atwooki Walusimbi.
Uncle Dr. Samuel Walusimbi and Atwooki were a Great couple who worked together in their Clinic until old age.
Atwooki Auntie was a beautiful; smart Mugumbakati (her Tooro Clan). She loved and welcomed all her relatives. She carried around her that Regal aura of Omwana wa bantu!!!
In our childhood she cared for us, made sure we were well fed, comfortable and happy whenever we stayed over in her beautiful Rubaga home. I was lucky to be entrusted with special tasks from her. I will never forget her charisma, her sharp instinctive approach to every situation, her work
Ethic (she worked as a nurse until old age). I admired her determination and the way She used to Drive her Morris Minor around Mengo and Kampala – She could play her Guitar with ease!!
She was an amazing home organiser. Food was always on the table by 7 pm daily (including Ettoke eri bobedde with a variety of delicious accompaniments – her typical Muganda Home.
When I got married years later, I picked up a lot of tips from the way she carried herself around her her home, her husband and her work. I put into practice the skills and values she egngraved in me.
To my loving cousins , our relatives and our whole Walusimbi family, we have lost a Great Lady. Thank you for taking care of her until this golden age. My husband and family send their condolences. May you be comforted. May you know that we will always pray for you. Let us all stay together to keep Atwooki’s legacy burning bright.
Your Ladyship, Atwooki, we will miss you, we will never never forget you. Oh what an honourable
Beautiful Star you have been. May your soul rest in eternal Peace. Mrs.Joy Lwanga, United Kingdom
