Born on 13 January 1960 to Mr. Charles Dundas Ogwal-Agea and Mrs. Gertrude Joyce Ogwal-Agea.
Education and Career Background
1966 to 1972 Boroboro Demonstration School
1973 to 1976; St. Katherine Girls SS.
1977 Canon Lawrence Teacher Training College, but she Did not complete her course because her father was murdered by Idi Amin. Alice had to find work and help the widowed Aya run the young family. Fortunately, the Late Ben Emor recruited her into UCB where she worked while undertaking banking and related courses.
As an employee of UCB, she served in Lira, Apac, Soroti, Kumi and Mbarara
She lived as a single mother and leaves behind 2 biological children but numerous other children that she looked after and brought up. She leaves behind 2 biological children but a host of others that considered her truly their grandmother.
She passed on at Kiruddu Hospital on Sunday 8 August at 3pm from complications resulting from Hepatitis B.
Vigil will be on Wednesday 11th August 2021 at Mbuya. Due to Covid–19 restrictions, zoom logging credentials will be provided.
There will be a funeral service at Lira City Boroboro on Thursday 12th August 2021 starting at 4:00pm.
Burial will take place on Saturday 14th August,2021 at Boroboro starting at 9:30 am. Live streaming and radio broadcast will be available to comply with Covid–19 restrictions.
