Social engagement
Our mother loved her community and engaged them through out her life.Upon retirement she started Opondo Memorial Nursery and Primary school (The Nursery started in 2002, currently the Nursery has 65 kids and primary has 40 kids (p1 to P3) and five teachers).
In the church she was a treasure and a zone leader, in the local politics, she held position of LC three councilor, minister of education Oruwa Clan, Board member Mulanda Senior Secondary School and Chairperson Mulanda Women’s Sacco.
Vigil will be held at Mr. Onyango Fred’s residence in Ntinda on Wednesday, 20th April 2022.
There will be a Funeral Service at All Saints Cathedral Nakasero on Thursday 21st April 2022 starting at 10:00am.
Burial will take place at their ancestral home in Mulanda Tororo on Saturday, 23rd April 2022 starting at 11:00am.
