The very last moment I spoke with you and visited you, you were travelling for extra medical care. Thereafter it was phone calls for 3 weeks and we were all hopeful you would be back ..Happy as usual. And then all went quite. I searched and searched only to learn from A plus today that you went to be with the Lord. From you I learnt to persevere in business. Rest with the angels Phillip. I will truely miss you

Ours was a chance meeting through acts of kindness. We forged a friendship. You changed my name to “Namukhana”, the moment you knew my background. I didn’t mind you calling me that. Always checking to see that I’m alright knowing how isolating it can be living abroad. I never got to say my last words; I didn’t know you were unwell until late when you couldn’t speak. Thank you for being you Phillip. May God comfort your wife and son, your family and friends. RIP my friend.
