He was born on 30th October 1943 to the late Andeleya Wanamama and maama Elessi Naluende Wanamama of Mbale and has died on 25th August 2025
He was baptized in 1944 at Nabumali Holy Trinity Church.
He was circumsized in 1968 meeting the Gishu requirements of becoming a man.

- He attended Busiu Primary School where he did PLE.

- He attended Nsamizi Public Service Institute where he attained certification in Public Administration
- He attended the United Kingdom Royal Institute of Public Administration in London 1990-1992 where he attained a Diploma in Records and Archive Management
- He attended the Institute of Public Administration (currently UMI) where he attained several certifications in Records Management.
Work history
He joined the Public Service in 1967 in the office of the President State House Entebbe as Records Assistant where he was the first African (Ugandan) to serve as Principal Assistant Records Assistant Officer. He participated in the streamlining of the structures of this office. His ideas still live uptodate.
He worked from Obote 1 to H.E Museveni’s regime when he retired in 2007 but continued serving the office of the President as an Ex Official who even after retirement diligently was often invited to review records and archives in the office.
He was a blessed husband, father to many. In his final days, he enjoyed spending time with his family, monitoring his investments properties and businesses in Kampala and Mbale.
