Moses Kagoro Kahumuza Akiiki was born in Kinogozi village, Masindi District to the late Erifazi Kahumuza Amooti and the late Edith Kahumuza Amooti on 12th June, 1963. He grew up in Kinogozi for most of his childhood and he enjoyed making wonderful memories with his family and friends. He was the fifth born of eight children and a treasured brother to;

He started his education at Omugo Bisereko Primary School for his Primary Education. He then joined Kabalega Secondary School where he studied for his O-Level and thereafter joined Ndejje Senior Secondary School for his A-Level Education.
Upon completion of his Secondary Education, Moses acquired a Diploma in Education from National Teachers College Kabalega and later travelled to India where he attained a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from Bhopal University.
After his graduation in India, he began his career in Accounting. He worked for the Uganda Electricity Board and later joined Eskom Uganda Limited, a leading electricity generation company, as their Principal Accountant. He was still a valued member of the Eskom team before his untimely demise.
Marriage and Family
While pursuing his career, Moses met and married Anne Gitta Kahumuza on 19th July, 2007. They have been married for over sixteen happy years. He was not only a loving and devoted husband but also a caring and fun-loving father to his children and grandchildren. Akiiki Moses leaves behind ten children and six grandchildren, namely;

Moses will always be cherished in the hearts of those who had the special privilege of knowing him. He was a quiet and calm person but always smiling and happy. He was loving, very kind and generous.
He was a dear friend to everyone and made it a point to be present and available whenever anyone needed him; often fashionably late but he always showed up.
He loved life and he lived it to the fullest. His life was defined by ‘Service Above Self’; quite assertive and was good at defusing any difficult moments.
He cherished his family deeply; embraced everyone with warmth and made them feel at home around him.
As we all come to terms with his untimely departure, we find comfort in knowing he is in a peaceful place. We will cherish and hold onto the fond memories he left us with.
There will be a Funeral Service at St. Luka’s Church Ntinda on Friday, 02nd February 2024 starting at 11:00am.
Burial will take place at their home in Kinogozi Village, Karujubu Division, Masindi Municipality -Masindi District on Saturday, 03rd February 2024 starting at 12:00 noon.
