He married in church to Dorothy Namataka (RIP) in 1962 at Dunga Church of Uganda with whom they were blessed with 10 children;

In all he produced Fourteen (14) children, over Eighty (80) grandchildren and over Twenty (20) great grandchildren. 

Employment Record:

  • He served in Uganda Prisons service – Force No.3480 from 10-12-1963 to 09-12-1991.
  • He retired at the Rank of Principal Officer.
  • He worked in the following stations;
  1. Rwimi Farm Prison, Kabarole D
  2. Mbarara Government Prison.
  3. Mbale Government Prison
  4. Kapchorwa Government Prison.
  • He retired in 1993 from Rwimi Farm Prison.

Contribution to The Society:

  • He Promoted/advocated for the Education of the girl child.
  • He was a prolific believer in Education being the Key to success and educated all his children to higher levels. He always encouraged his children and whoever he interacted with. One of his children is a Hight Court Judge, Others graduated in Accountancy, Social Science, Computer Science, Education, and Nursing.
  • He mentored people in matters of education, morals, Justice, forthrightness, Integrity, healthy living, personal hygiene and living in a clean environment
  • He loved reading and never needed glasses, always up-to-date with current affairs.

Death:

Died at Mbale Regional Referal Hospital on 26th July, 2024 at 11:30pm of a stroke.

He died at a good old age of 93years, and nine      months.                                                                                                                                                May GOD Rest His Soul in Eternal Peace
