Brief History of Professional Career.

  • On 3rd March 1964: He joined Sun Alliance Insurance Co. Ltd as a Clerk
  • On 2nd June 1967: He became Senior Underwriter of the same company.
  • At the start of 1968: He became an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute having completed his ACII in London and took substantial charge of underwriting, claims, and re-insurance within the same company.
  • On 5th January 1971: He joined National Insurance Corporation Ltd and became Superintendent of the Fire Department.
  • On 2nd January 1974: He became Assistant Manager of the Accidents department
  • On 5th June 1976: He became Deputy Manager of the Re-insurance Department.
  • On 7th January 1981: He joined Interstate Insurance Ltd
  • Mid 1981: He was appointed by the late Hon. Ssebaana Kizito to start Trans-state Re-insurance Company Ltd, which he headed for ten years.
  • On 02nd January 1991: He was appointed to start Rio Insurance company Ltd and headed the company for three years as the General Manager.
  • On 16th May 1994: He joined United Assurance Company Ltd and was appointed Senior Technical Manager to handle underwriting, re-insurance and claims as head of Technical Department.
  • On 31st October 2001: He retired from Insurance practice while at United Assurance Company Ltd.
  • On 4th January 2002: He was called back at United Assurance Co. and offered a job of Technical Consultant.
  • On 01st July 2002: He joined East African General Insurance Ltd (EAGEN) as Senior Underwriting Manager.
  • On 03rd December 2003: He joined Leads Insurance Ltd as Head of Claims/Re-insurance.
  • On 15th April 2016: He joined Covermark Insurance Ltd and thereafter, following more than five years of extended service, finally retired during the onslaught of the global pandemic.

There will be a Requiem Mass at Rubaga Cathedral on Wednesday, 14th December 2022 starting at 09:00am, followed by vigil at their home in Lulumbu- Busujju, Mityana Road.

Burial will take place at their ancestral home in Lulumbu- Busujju, Mityana Road on Thursday, 15th December 2022 at 02:00pm.
