Frank Asiimwe was born on 21st of August 1971 in Mbarara. He is the first born of Mr. Fred Kamugira and Mrs. Susan Kamugira.

He attended Buganda Road Primary School in Kampala, Mama Ngina Primary School in Kenya, Ntare School in Mbarara, and completed his college education from Bergen Community College in the United States with an Associate Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. When he returned to Uganda he worked at Magric Uganda Ltd and then Uganda Crocs in Buwama. Frank served as the LCI of Ministers Village, Ntinda since 2018.

He is survived by two sons; Samuel Asiimwe (23 years) and Mathew Asiimwe (6 years), siblings; Adrian Tumusiime, Carol Kamugira, Karen Kamugira, and Jessica LoVellette, his nephews; Shane and Jeremiah, Nieces; Zuri, Anaya, Shoshana, Teta and Ineza whom he adored and parents Fred and Susan Kamugira.

Frank was one of a kind. He was a happy soul, never kept a grudge. He treated everyone he met with respect and was dedicated to his family, friends and the Ministers Village residents whom he loved and served. He was the family ambassador who kept in touch with our Uncles, Aunties and several cousins all over the world. He was a friend to many and will be missed by many.

Burial will take place at their ancestral home in Bwizibwera, Mbarara on Tuesday, 17th January 2023 starting at 12:00pm.
