Engineer Caroline Victoria Korutaro Ntozi Chomi was born on 8th February 1979 and went to be with the Lord on Wednesday 19th June 2021.

She went to Kitante Primary Schools for primary, Gayaza High School for O level and Makerere College School for A level. She obtained BSc. Chemical and Process Engineering from University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, MSc. Environmental and Energy Engineering, University of Sheffield, United Kingdom and MSc. Petroleum Engineering from Institute of Petroleum Engineering, Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh.
She got married to Stephen Chomi on 30th July 2005 at St Francis Chapel Makerere and was a mother blessed with four Children Kurtis Chomi, Allegra Chomi, Megan Chomi and Darren Chomi.
Caroline is the second born in the family of late Prof. Ntozi and Dr. Idah Ntozi and has been a pillar in the family and friend to many people. She has looked after many relatives who are like her children.
Career/Work experience:
Up to her demise, she has been working in Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development for last 16 years. She joined in 2005 rose through ranks up to Principal Petroleum officer- Production. Caroline was a Professional Engineer and member of the Uganda Institute of Professional Engineers.
