He had nine (9) children but five are deceased namely Edward Lubowa, Dennis Ssenabulya, Bernard Kalyango, Jane Josephine Nakyejwe and Francis Xavier Kintu.

He is Roman Catholic and an ex-seminarian.

Vigil is going to be held at the Magere on 19^th October,2021 at 5:00pm.

 There will be a funeral service at Rubaga Cathedral on 19^th October starting at 11:00am

Burial will take place at their ancestral home in Magere on Wednesday 20^th October,2021 at 02: 00pm.There will be a mass at 5:00pm after burial.
