The Late toto Christine Agado was born in 1942 to the family of Mzei Daudi Omoding Okodo and tata Akello Teddy of Akumangor Village, Asamuk sub-county in the present day Amuria District.

She is the second born child of the late mzei Daudi Omoding Okodo and tata Teddy Akello. The family is mainly catholic and has practiced the catholic faith for over 100 years.

Muzei Daudi Omoding Okodo and tata Akello Teddy were blessed with six (6) children. Three girls and three boys. Ms. Agati Juliana, Ms. Agado Christine, Ms. Ainyo Tika, Mr. Odema Paul, Mr. Ekaju Michael and Mr. Ochige Emocu Vicent who are all deceased now.

The late attained catechism education at Dokolo Catholic Church and received the sacraments of Baptism, First Holy Communion and Confirmation from Wera Catholic Parish which in under Soroti Catholic Diocese.

She got married to Mr. Stephen Egasu in the late 60’s who comes from Alira Cell, Amuria Town Council in Amuria District. Her marriage was faced with domestic violence, and she returned to her parent’s home.

While at her parent’s home, the late toto Christine Agado visted her sister who was doing business in Katakwi town where she met her friend Mr. Ocar Charles with whom she produced two children: the late Isaac and Hon. Peter Ogwang.

God blessed the late toto Christine Agado and her husband the late Stephen Egasu with eleven children of which seven are deceased and only four are here with us today.

She reconciled with her husband and she returned to her marital home in Alira Cell, Amuria Town Council in Amuria District.

The late is known for her hard work, love for humanity and instilling discipline.

Burial will take place at their ancestral home in Alira Cell, Amurai Town Council on Friday 22nd December 2023 starting at 10:00am.

Speaker of Parliament and Honorable Members of Parliament, His Lordship the Chief Justice and the Judiciary Head of Public Service and all the Civil Servants, His Highness Emorimor Papa Iteso, Religious Leader, Civic and Political Leaders, Relatives, Friends and In-laws.
