Ambassador Nabeta proudly served his country, Uganda, for 40 years. He led by example while rising through the ranks of Foreign Service and Affairs. Holding the posts of Chief of Protocol, Permanent Secretary, Permanent Representative and Ambassador through the course of a decorated career, he set the standard while representing Uganda in various countries across Europe and Africa.
A distinguished and revered Diplomat, an exceptional husband to Elizabeth, exemplary Father, Patriarch of the Nabeta clan, a proud Waligo, mentor, role model and the perennial optimist, he has created a legacy that will forever be marked by excellence, integrity and inimitable wisdom.
Burial will take place at Sonia’s Garden, Zana on Sunday 20.11.2020.

April 21, 2023 at 2:22 amI believe Steven was in Germany at the Goethe institute in 1971. We were all young but full of hope and promise. Steven sat at supper every night with me and several Americans. He was a great person, bright, energetic and entertaining. I always knew he would really go to the top in whatever he did. Apparently he did. Sincere condolences to his family. May he rest in blessed peace
