Date of Birth: 20.10.1933

Date of Death: 20.04.2022

The deceased was born of the Late Ogutti Oyimba and Aseri Nakariwoko. She has left three surviving siblings (one boy and two girls) of Bubwokhi Village, Muwayo Town Council, Bugiri district.

She got married in 1952 to the Late Daniel Motokha and she has left eight surviving children (five boys and three girls) and has also left fifty-nine grandchildren.

The late was a committed, disciplined and a very hard working woman. She was fully committed to her faith and she died when she had taken the required sacraments of her faith and she couldn’t miss Sunday services even when she was ill. She lived a life where members in the community could approach her for advice and was friendly to everyone.

Even at the time of her death, she still owned a garden where she physically was involved despite her age.

The deceased also lived a life which was admired by her children and grandchildren and members in the community.

The deceased was taken to various medical facilities eg. Cardic Hospital, Life Sure, Entebbe Grade “B, Kisubi Hospital, Life Care Medical Centre Busia and there was progress in her health.

On the 20.04.2022, she woke up in the morning and raised a complaint of headache, chest pain, cough and backache and immediately, she was rushed to Village of Eden Medical Centre for a medical checkup where she was disorganised with hypertension (pressure)grade II. Hematuria (blood in urine), and respiratory infection. She was put on treatment for the above and she went on normally at home until late in the evening when her condition worsened.

In the effort to save her life, she was rushed to the hospital but unfortunately, she breathed her last on the way.

As we celebrate the life she has lived, we thank God for having enabled us to send off our beloved mother, instead of her sending off her children.

In addition, we thank everyone regardless, for providing social, physical and spiritual support to our beloved mother.

While we loved our beloved mother, we wished she stayed longer but God Almighty loved her beyond us.

May her soul rest in peace (MHSRIP).
