Born in Iganga Namunkanaga village, December …, 1938 where his father lived as a farmer.
E.M.W spent his early years after school working in civil service and later on retired to concentrate in crop and animal production.
He masterminded the establishment of Wanyange Social Service Project and Namunkanaga Social Service Project_ Christian based non government organisations which played a tremendous role in supporting less privileged in Busoga region.
E.M Wandabula is remembered for laying a foundation in the establishment of the Methodist Church, The Methodist Episcopal Church and also the United Methodist Church in Uganda.
E.M.W was nicknamed Professor because of his vast knowledge and wisdom that he always shared with children, youth and elderly people.
He always advocated for farming, education and developmental skills as best means to eradicate poverty.
He did the best he could to promote love and unity.
In the years before he was diagnosed with diabetes, E.M could work in his gardens and poultry farm all day.
A private memorial service will be held at his home in Jinja Wanyange (due to government restrictions in the fight against covid) and burial will take place in Namunkanaga.
Burial will take place at their ancestral home in Namunkanaga on Thursday 08th July, 2021 at 12:00pm.
