ETAP GRACE CHRISTINE OKULLO May 29, 2021

The late Etap Grace Christine Okullo was born 9th February 1963 to Mr. and Mrs. Erecenia and Buladina Ogwal. She was the 9th born out of 10 children. Today only 3 children are left. Two girls. Mrs Mary Ogwette and Ms. Hilda Auma and a brother Mr. Seezi Otim.

The late Christine went to Abilolino Primary School and sat her primary leaving examination at Aswa Ranch Primari School in Gulu District. She attended secondary education at St. Catherine Girls Boroboro in Lira District.

In 1986, she joined Unilever Uganda Limited a company where she worked for over 30 years. During this time, she upgraded her education from diploma in stores Management, Procurement and supply chain Management from Islamic University in Uganda. She further enrolled for a post graduate diploma in Management Institute.

Christine was a very hardworking, generous, enterprising, spiritual and resilient person. She had people at her heart and did not mind their qualifications level of education or status in society. She loved genuinely and gave her best to ensure her family was happy.

The late was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2013 and in 2020 she decided to resign from her job on medical grounds, however, she resorted to run a family project of a secondary school in Kole District a long side other business. She tried her best to be self-sustaining.

She has been on cancer treatment until 24th May 2021 when she went to be with the Lord.

Christine has left behind her husband Mr. Nelson Okulo, 6 Children: Akite Brenda Otika, Akello Winnie Ongin, Elem Eric Nelson, Akongo Mirriam, Otema Aanon, Etap Martha A and 6 grandchildren: Jacob, Janice, Jemmima, Jensin, Gavin and Govan.

However, the late Christine has other children that she supported; Adwek Daniel, Aceng Monica, Elem Isaac, Ochora Jame, Tenga Matthew, Okwir Ben, Obote Ivan, Etap Grace, Christine, Gloria among others.

Vigil is going to be held at their home in Namwenzi Estate, SsondeMukono today on 26th May, 2021.

There will be Funeral Service at Pentecostal Church, Nakawa on Thursday 27th May,2021 starting at 10:00am.

Burial will take place at their ancestral home in Kole District Balla SubcountyAumi, Ogedi Parish, Atingtwo Village on Saturday 29th May,2021.
