George was born on 30th September 1932 to the late Festus Musanje Kibukamusoke and Elsie Nakayima Nansubuga Kibukamusoke.
He attended Kings College Budo and Nakawa Technical Institute where he graduated as a Civil Engineer. He served as an Engineer in various Government Institutions until he became self employed at Esso Petrol Station.
On 27th September 1958, he got married to his long time wife Perpetua Kayaga Lwanga.
In 1977 he fled Uganda seek refuge in Kenya with his family and then afterwards to Boston, United States in 1979. He became part owner of the Exxon Petro Station which was very successful. He lived a wonderful life in the USA integrating into the culture and becoming a diehard Boston Sports fan before returning to Uganda with his wife in May 2006.
He is survived by three children Florence, Alfred and Charles and several grandchildren.
Burial is going to take place at their ancestral home in Masooli, Gayaza Road today on the 22nd January, 2021 starting with a Service at 12:00pm.
